Could the flower be a Crown Imperial flower, which grows from a bulb – a native of Iran, Afghanistan and the Himalayan foothills. Beautiful flower – and a super topic for the mosaic.
I probably shouldn’t be allowed to comment as a professional horticulturalist! Fritillaria imperialis is the scientific name. What a gorgeous mosaic!!
